YAPD: Nokia E63 Now Down to $199.99
YAPD: Nokia E63 Now Down to $199.99
Amazon has cut the price of the Nokia E63 phone again, this time to just a shade under $200. Fully unlocked, with free shipping and (probably) no tax for you. What’s not to like?
For those who need a quick primer on the E63, it’s essentially a more affordable version of the high-end E71, without the GPS or the “high-powered” 3.2 megapixel camera. Whatever, as a trade-off you get a coveted 3.5mm audio jack and more battery life than the latter. And like the E71, you still have that quad-band connectivity, 3G, Wi-Fi, Symbian, extensive email features, and a nice large screen.
Deal: Samsung WEP200 Bluetooth Headset for $7.99 After Rebate
In case you didn’t get in on the previous BH-102 and BH-101 Bluetooth headset deals (or maybe you just prefer non-Nokia headsets), here’s another: the Samsung WEP200 headset for $7.99. After rebate.
It’s no looker, but judging from the reviews, the WEP200 is fairly dependable (4 star average review, 695 total reviews), supports Bluetooth 2.0 (+EDR), and is wearable on either ear with the included ear hooks. Only thing that could be better is the battery life, which tops out at about 4 hours of talk time.
The WEP200 is being sold by Amazon, which is always a plus.
Bonus: you also get a travel charging and a charging case. I say, not bad.

New $50 Nokia Rebate Makes E63-2 $149.99, N85 $280.00
This is getting a little ridiculous. A couple days ago, Amazon reduced the price of the Nokia E63-2 (North American version of the E63, which is itself a lower-priced version of the E71) down to $199.99. Today, Nokia released a $50 Visa card rebate, effectively dropping your cost to $149.99. Best of all, the rebate is valid for several other phones as well.
